THE KNOW-HOW TO WEAVE DREAMS
If her quest for gemstones often carries Sandrine Domercq to Jaipur in India, her creations are exclusively crafted in Europe.
London, where she lives remains a stronghold of know-how concerning gold wire, always worked in 18 carats for Perle de Lune creations.
All are handcrafted by a small team with skilful and passionate hands, with the highest standards of quality and attention to the smallest detail.
HANDMADE WITH LOVE IN EUROPE
For parts requiring setting techniques, Sandrine collaborates with a human scaled European workshop renowned for its precision and quality standards. A family of expert jewellers, at the forefront of innovation and prototyping techniques, knowing how to transmit their irreplaceable know-how from generation to generation.
The life of a gem-set jewel always begins with the designer's sketch, transformed in our London offices into a technical 2D layout. It will then take shape with the 3-dimensional interpretation by the workshop, leading to a prototype, then to the casting and setting of a piece with an impeccable finish.
THE COLOUR EXPERTISE OF A GEMMOLOGIST DESIGNER
If the imaginative playground of Perle de Lune carries us high into the heavens, however our commitment to quality and the imperatives of manufacturing keep our feet firmly on the ground.
The gemmologist in Sandrine Domercq knows her business when it comes to sourcing. During her travels, she may fall in love with singular stones, which some would find imperfect due to their natural inclusions. The designer will know how to spot all its beauty to bring authentic and unique pieces to life.
On a daily basis, with an eye for colour and all its variations and a demanding outlook on quality, she never compromises with the standards she has set for herself. It is with the same rigour that she selects artisanal gem-cutting workshops and larger-scale lapidary factories, subject in complete transparency to international standards and members of the Responsible Jewellery Council
